TAGRID Antifungal Oatmeal Tea Tree Soap - for Skin Relief (8.8oz)

I have used Tagrid products before so I’m familiar with their general offerings, and when an opportunity came up to try their Tea Tree Nourishing bar, I jumped at the chance!Now, I’m not particularly an athlete, nor do I participate in sports like many other reviewers. In fact, I’m a janitor at an RV park in the desert, where the weather is hot and the guests are not-so-hot. (But lovable anyway, we love our snowbirds! Most of them, anyway. Whoever’s dropping deuces in the shower needs to stop, please!)This means I’m in and out of high temps and water constantly, and sweat like a two dollar saloon gal on half price night. For a guy with psoriasis, you can imagine how well that works for my skin … and scalp.First thing I noticed when opening this was a really pleasant, slightly eucalyptus-forward, minty smell - which surprised me, because usually anything with tea tree REEKS of tea tree. I didn’t smell the tea tree at all until the bar got wet, actually - which was nice - and it STILL wasn’t overwhelming, and added a bit of a “spa” element to the shower. Here at the park we actually hang eucalyptus and mint in the guest showers, so I got a whiff at home too!Now, this IS a medicated soap, so it DOES have use instructions - leave on the skin 1-2 minutes before rinsing. I actually use it as shampoo also, and it clears up the psoriasis patches on my scalp a good bit with no irritation or hair damage, and it rinses clean without leaving my hair straw-like or greasy! I DO keep my hair very short though (5 guard buzz) so your mileage may vary.I’m on week 2 of using it every 3rd day for my sweatiest areas (scalp, pits, undercarriage - most antifungal soaps and shampoos should be 2-3x a week for best efficiency when used as a preventative, per my dermatologist) and it’s not only working amazingly well, it looks like the bar will last me around 2-3 months as long as I let it dry between uses.As a bonus, it’s also cleared up my adult acne (I’m 48, y’all - where is this crap coming from?!) That alone makes it worth it to me, since I’m allergic to most antibiotics used for acne treatment and retinoids aren’t advised for someone who works in the sun as much as I do. Even the best sunscreen can only do so much, y’know? So definite A+!At under $9 (at time of review) it’s not inexpensive, but with 1% tolnaftate, a gorgeous scent, and the fact that it not only works, it LASTS - its well worth the buy! I’m about to pick up another bar so I have a reserve!

I got this soap because I sometimes struggle with fungal issues on my skin and this soap contains some great ingredients that help deal with these issues.This soap has tea tree as it's predominant scent. I found the smell to be refreshing, fresh and clean. Most soaps that have tea tree oil have a drying effect on my skin, but I didn't have that problem with this soap. I didn't experience skin dryness or skin irritation with this soap.The only thing I didn't like about this soap is that it is not a hard milled soap, so it is used up fairly quickly compared to some other soaps I've tested. Because of this, I would have to rate these as a rather poor value for the money, given the premium price that this sells for.

I love it! My cheeks and neck tend to bump up and get itchy when my facial hair grows in. And if I go too long without shaving, it gets painful. But this soap does a few wonderful things: 1) it gets rid of the pain, 2) gets rid of the itch, 3) provides a soothing barrier, and 4) helps prevent ingrown hairs. Now it is not a miracle soap. If I don't do my job of being consistent with my routine, yes I will bump up and itch. And that is my challenge because I don't like routines that take longer than 2mins. lol. But this really does help. It comes in this nice mesh pouch, and it smells very nice.One more very cool aspect with this soap, is that it doesn't dry you out. I was scared to use it on my face, fearing that it was be very dry afterwards. It is a strong soap in it's benefits, but mild enough to be used facially. There's been times I used it and didn't follow it up with a moisturizer of some kind, and I was dry, but not problematic-dry. And it's also good with odors that our bodies can have (especially after working out). So all around good soap.

This soap is really great! It comes with this really nice sachet to keep the bar of soap in. It’s almost like a loofa material and it’s great for getting some extra exfoliation and it also creates a great lather. The smell is so nice and clean. It doesn’t have a medicinal smell or anything and you feel fresh and clean after. It does seem to clean well and my skin was soft afterwards and didn’t feel dried out. It’s not harsh on the skin at all and can definitely be used as a daily soap. I really like the smell and feel so much and will continue using it!

I play pickleball, bike, and hike for hours out in the heat and sweat quite a bit. If I cannot change out of my wet clothes right away after exercise, I get an itchy fungal rash that is tough to get rid of. I was looking for a cleanser that has 1.0% of the ingredient;Tolnaftate in it. Tolnaftate topical (for the skin) is used to treat infections such as jock itch. I ordered a 4 ounce bar of Antifungal Soap with 1.0% Tolnaftate from the TAGRID Store. The inactive ingredient list includes Eucaplyptus and Tea Tree. These ingredients in the soap help soothe irritated skin, reduces itching, and helps calm inflammation and is gentle enough to use daily to help prevent the return of fungal infections. I like the way it lathers in the scrub sack that it comes in. Each bar comes with a scrub sack that I hang in the shower. The eucalyptus and tea tree oil give this soap a clean, fresh air smell and I like how it keeps my skin feeling fresh, clean, and protected. My husband has even tried it on his feet and says it seems to help keep his feet from the usual "gym stink." Changing my clothes after exercise in addition to using using TAGRID Antifungal Soap has helped clear up my rash and has prevented other flareups. I am happy with this product and can give it 5 stars for effectiveness, quality ingredients and value.

This is the soap you need if you want to combat body odor before it begins! I have used Tagrid tea tree soap for about a month and have noticed that at the end of a busy day, I have less body odor than I had before using this soap. This soap leaves my skin feeling clean and not dried out or tight. I do not use it on sensitive skin areas however.This tea tree soap has a distinctive smell that is herbal, but not harsh. It provides a nice lather that rinses clean without any sticky feeling.I recommend this soap for anyone needing a little bit more help to combat body (especially feet) odor!

I'm a big fan of this soap bar, it just has such a nice pleasant scent to it without being overwhelming. I'm allergic to heavy fragrances so it's great that this one is not too strong while also smelling pleasant but not medicinal. I usually use tea tree soaps from other brands and like the ingredient, so I appreciated that this one has it as well in addition to the active ingredient. Of course its very difficult to know if the active ingredient does anything just by washing with it but it gives some peace of mind. Regardless of the active ingredient, the soap is great as a regular bar soap anyway....it lathers well, rinses off easily and leaves skin feeling soft. Overall I like this soap a lot, great product, no issues.

It’s practical, it feels effective, and it’s one of the few bars I’ve used where you step out of the shower feeling like you hit a reset button instead of just masking the problem.

Very good soap to reduce itching. It also helped to heal a bad rash.

This works wonders. I've seen noticeable results in a week since I've started using it. If you're wondering if you should buy this, don't wonder just get it.

Its a nice soap, i turned out not to have ring worm (just eczema) but with my sensitive skin it still worked

This tea tree soap with oatmeal cleanses the skin and leaves it enriched with softness. It has a sort out astringent scent from the tea tree but I personally really like it. It helps with dryness and doesn't irritate my skin. It doesn't strip my skin even though it provides a deep cleaning on it. I think this is a great value for a soothing soap product.

In a house of athletes, the TAGRID Tea Tree Soap with Oatmeal has been a life saver. I especially like this for my husband and son because they tend to sweat the most and, as a result, end up with some interesting skin situations. My husband especially, as he gets breakouts on his back and under his armpits where his shirt rubs and they become very painful. He said this soap has really helped to not only take away some of the breakouts, but really gives his skin some relief as well. From what I've read about Tolnaftate, this is the ingredient that is fighting these fungal infections and preventing them from returning. I hadn't known much about this, but have seen the results and can't believe how well it works. Along with this, in my opinion you can't go wrong with anything tea tree and eucalyptus either. I love the smell and feel that they are so good at soothing and relaxing the skin. It's hard to imagine that a bar of soap can make such a difference, but this soap really is fantastic. It comes with a little sleeve, lathers up nicely and just works! For under 10 dollars, it is absolutely worth it and my family is already ensuring I purchase this in the future!

First impression, I like the texture of this cream however if kind of feels like icy hot? I don’t know if I used it incorrectly or what but I applied it like lotion and now my skin feels like I put icy hot on it? Is it supposed to be used as a spot treatment not a cream? I’m slightly confused! Skin isn’t red or irritated though

What a great bar of soap! It has a wonderfully clean scent and makes your skin feel so soft and rejuvenated afterwards. I love the natural benefits of tea tree and this soap actually really helped with some problematic skin that i had on my shoulders and back. It lasts a really long time and foams up easily. 10/10
